Brocacef was replacing its CMS with Contentful. I joined to work out what the new website needed and how its content should fit together, then stayed through the build, migration and editor training.

My role & approach
My role
I translated the website’s requirements into user stories and defined the pages, components and relationships in Contentful. I worked with developers, designers and stakeholders through implementation and migration, then wrote the editor documentation and ran hands-on training.
How I approached it
I started by mapping the existing site’s content and functionality. With the team, I worked out what to keep, improve or leave behind. From there, I shaped the content models around the new Brocacef Design System and worked through the details during the build.
After the launch
The website went live in eight months. I wrote guidance and ran hands-on training for the editors who would manage it. They now work in Contentful, with content stored separately from the website and available for future software connections.
